The 10th Annual Montauk Ocean Swim Challenge was a huge success! Many thanks to our sponsor, lifeguards, and volunteers. Congratulations to our swimmers; race results are posted here. The MOSC benefits the Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation in its efforts to build a Cultural Arts and Aquatic Center.
The MOSC offers three distance categories for swimmers of all ages and abilities. The race moves along Montauk’s scenic coastline and concludes at the world-famous Ditch Plains Beach. Over 200 participants and supporters enjoy a post-swim breakfast. “Giving back to your community is so important. When you give to nonprofits all over the country, you get to see some results, but when you give to a nonprofit in your town, you get to live the results. You get to use the facilities and see how happy people are when they come to the Playhouse.”Lisa DeVeglio
