Jordan Bromley
Raised in Springs and Montauk, Jordan graduated from Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont, with a degree in International Relations. Jordan has worked in film for the past 19 years, editing and re-writing screenplays for various production houses in Los Angeles and New York City. He is co-founder of Offshore Art & Film, a cultural organization based in Montauk, dedicated to both the community and the arts. He is currently a member of the Air Force Reserves, stationed in McGuire AFB, New Jersey. Jordan now spends his time between the west side of Manhattan and his small beach cottage by the ocean in Montauk.“Having a cultural and aquatic center in Montauk is so very important, especially in today’s world. Growing up in East Hampton and Montauk, I wish I had access to something as modern and relevant as this, when I was a young adult. We need this. I feel it with every degree of mind and spirit that I possess.”
John D’Agostino
A lifelong Montauk resident, Co-Owner of Martha Greene Real Estate LLC, Director of the Montauk Marine Science Institute, Treasurer of the Montauk Chamber of Commerce, husband and father, John has been dedicated to the sustainability of Montauk. Bill Garry
Bill has been a part-time resident and small business owner in Montauk for 32 years. Soon to be retired after 35 years of teaching math and coaching lacrosse, he will be joining his wife full-time, who is now an English teacher at the Ross School. He has owned East End Windsurf since 1992 and has spent summers and weekends here since purchasing their house in Ditch Plains. They have two daughters who consider Montauktheir home, they are ocean lovers and both spent 7 years as town lifeguards. They love the active lifestyle that Montauk affords and they look forward to the aquatic center. Bill is an avid triathlete who also enjoys many watersports and is an active open water swimmer. He is enthusiastic about promoting the long-awaited aquatic center, and believes it will have an immediate impact on the Montauk community.
Alice Houseknecht
Alice has been a full-time resident of Montauk since 1976. After graduating from Hunter College in Manhattan she went to work for TWA as a flight attendant. Her calling to be a schoolteacher led her to obtain her master’s degree in education at Long Island University. She taught at Montauk School while assisting her family in the operation of the East Deck Motel. At this time, she also started enlisting her spare time at the local food pantry. She currently serves as the volunteer director of the Montauk Food Pantry and is a member of the Community Housing Advisory Board with the Town of East Hampton.

Dr. Rachel Lys DPT
Rachel owns and operates the East Hampton Physical Therapy, a year-round outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic in Montauk. She is a mother of four daughters who all attended the Montauk Childcare Center for years. Currently Rachael is Chairwoman of the Health and Sight Committee for the East Hampton Lions Club aiding in distribution of funds for those in need.
She is looking forward to the completion of the Aquatic Center to help all those in need of swim instruction and to help promote a healthy lifestyle option for all East Enders.
Maria Villarreal
Originally from Colombia, Maria and her husband settled in Montauk fifteen years ago and are now raising two children. She has worked her way up to a Supervisor position at Peoples United Bank and for the past twelve years has been a member of the Montauk Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary.
“The completion of the Cultural & Aquatics center is very important to me because I am hopeful that they will provide my children and all the children of our community with both a deep appreciation of the arts and a safe place to learn and develop water-related skills and activities. We need this!”
