In 1999, The Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation, Inc. (MPCCF) was founded with a mission to save the historic Montauk Playhouse and transform it into a vibrant home for arts, education, athletics and human services.
Thanks to the efforts of donors and support from the Town of East Hampton, the Montauk Playhouse Community Center has been beautifully restored. The eastern half of the Playhouse has been operational since the spring of 2006, but, despite our progress, the MPCCF’s mission is not complete.
