Our Board

Jennifer Carney Iacono

Jennifer’s professional career spanned 20+ years in consulting, media, and technology positions; her last full-time corporate role was with Time Warner Cable Programming as a VP in their digital media group. Growing up, she spent every summer in Montauk at two Hither Hills cottages her parents purchased in 1963. After the cottages were lost to a fire in 1998, she and her husband, Rich, rebuilt and became full-time residents in 2007. Jennifer has been an active community volunteer, serving as president of the Ross School Parents Association for the middle school, and then president of the Ross PA executive board. She is a member of the Montauk Citizens Advisory Committee.

Steve Tuma

Steve grew up with the legacy of Carl Fisher and his seemingly out of place creations. His parents and grandparents would talk about how grand the structures once were and he always wondered why a piece of Montauk’s history was left in disrepair.

The Tumas arrived in Montauk over 100 years ago where the grandfather established a commercial fishing charter business. Growing up in Montauk Steve has seen his hometown change in many ways over the years. The once sleepy fishing village has developed into a vibrant year-round residence for locals and 2nd homeowners alike. As a graduate of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida Steve returned to the East End to start his business at the East Hampton Airport in 1990, which continues today.

“Becoming involved with the Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation is an exciting opportunity for me to leave a lasting legacy for my hometown community and my children’s children. Carl Fisher left Montauk with such a strong vision, and it would be wonderful to see one of his elaborate buildings to be utilized in such a meaningful way.”

Maureen Cahill

Maureen moved to Montauk full time in 2016. She has been married to Dan for 33 years and raised five children. Maureen received her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Kings College.

Maureen has volunteered her time and resources to the communities in which she has lived for over 30 years. She served on the Board of the Grenville Baker Boys and Girls Club in Locust Valley, and worked in the food pantries located in Glen Cove and Montauk.

Maureen has a keen interest in swimming due to her involvement in triathlons. She competed professionally in Ironman Triathlons and enjoys participating recreationally with her family in the Montauk Sprint Triathlon.

“The Montauk aquatic and cultural center will play an important role in the development of our community. The ability to serve all ages of our community, especially young and old, is a vital necessity.”

Fabio Rosati

Fabio and his family have called Montauk their home since 1996. Shortly after he and his wife Catherine became full-time residents in 2016, Fabio learned about the Montauk Playhouse Community Center and fell in love with its mission.

Originally from Florence, Italy, Fabio is a tech entrepreneur best known for his work at freelance economy pioneers Elance and Upwork. He currently serves on the boards of Xometry, Smith.ai and Skysthelimit.org

“In the years to come the Montauk Playhouse Community Center will become one of Montauk’s beacons of light, an economically, socially and culturally important space for the entire community.”

Jasie Britton

Jasie Britton has worked as a teacher, mentor, and education consultant. She serves on the Board of Matriculate, supporting high-achieving, low-income students preparing for college, and is a co-founder of Flock, an organization that helps families raising children with ADHD.

A Montauk homeowner since 2005, Jasie is an avid swimmer who first discovered the area’s surf and community with her husband, John. Together, they’ve been active in rebuilding the Montauk Skatepark and helping to launch Shred the Love Montauk Inc., which oversees the Rell Sunn Community Surf Benefit for East End families in need. Along with their children, they volunteer with A Walk on Water, a surf therapy program.

“John and I have been supporters of the Playhouse since the early days of the foundation, and I am so grateful to all those that have led the effort that have brought us to where it is today. I am thrilled to join the Board for this next chapter.”

Andy Harris

Andy Harris has been a full-time resident of Montauk since 2003 when he and his wife Sally Richardson acquired one of the Carl Fisher residences, built at the same time as the Playhouse.

Raised on a farm in New Zealand and having graduated as a veterinarian there in 1980, he spent 23 years working in the healthcare industry in Europe and the US.

He has volunteered on several East Hampton Town committees including seven years as Chair of the EHT Property Management Committee and has served on the board and executive committee of two Montauk non-profits. He is also a member of the Montauk Citizens Advisory Committee and volunteers at the Montauk Food Pantry.

Kim Troy

Kim first discovered Montauk in the 1980s while working during her college summers. It was here she met her husband, Matt, whose family had cherished Montauk as their summer sanctuary since 1970. Together, Kim and Matt have embraced Montauk as their summer home since 1999, making it their full-time residence in 2020.

Kim earned a BA from Hofstra University and soon after began a dynamic career in International Human Resources at Deloitte. After the birth of their third child, Kim redirected her passion and energy into numerous philanthropic, art and educational endeavors.

She looks forward to the opportunity to connect this passionate and talented community with a variety of art, education and entertainment programming.
